Our training courses were developed based on my experience when opening a Lipo Cavitation and Radio Frequency treatment business. When I opened The Skinny over six years ago not only was there no 'model' for this type of business, there were only a handful of places offering training (I use the word training  very loosely here), what these places were really interested in were selling their equipment not proper training.

I had already been researching Lipo Cavitation, Radio Frequency and MicroCurrent for a year and a half. My research included all the technical aspects such as frequencies and amplitudes, studying the science behind how these energies work and safety as well as testing equipment, performing treatments on friends and family and documenting results.

I was ready to open my business but wanted to validate myself as much as possible, I decided to check into some of the training being offered. After speaking with the majority of the places offering training programs I was SHOCKED to realize I knew SO MUCH more about Lipo Cavitation, RF and MicroCurrent than the people offering the training. The bottom line was they were offering 8-16 hours of training for $6000. - $8000. The prices included a Lipo Cavitation machine but these machineS cost between $500 - $600. In my opinion this seemed outrageous and I had no reason ( based on my conversations with these places) to have any faith in their ability to teach me anything I had not already learned. Over six years later this still seems to be the case, I hear about people traveling out of their home state for a 1-2 day training course and paying up to $10,000. Are they ready to start a business? Do they feel confident in knowing how to successfully perform treatments? Do they even know how the equipment works and how the energy is interacting with the clients? My answer to those questions would be NO! A few hours of training is not sufficient too fully understand and successfully perform treatments.

I have realized over the past few years how much value there is in the knowledge and experience I have acquired from operating my business and I am happy to share this knowledge with others who want a successful business!

After years in business and well over 10,000 treatments performed we still stay booked solid for weeks or even months in advance. Why? Because we get results!!! I have personally developed my own techniques to ensure optimal results for clients.

Price for Level 1 program includes training for one person only. NO equipment included.

LEVEL 2
4 DAY COURSE
BUSINESS OWNER OF EXISTING SALON OR SPA

This course is designed for anyone who already owns their business and would like to add Lipo Cavitation and Radio Frequency treatments to the services they offer in their salon or spa.

Course Includes:

  • Education on What Lipo Cavitation and RF are & how they work
  • Education on Frequencies and Amplitudes
  • Training on explaining process to clients and answering questions (extremely valuable in communicating with potential clients)
  • Education on results and benefits
  • Training in screening clients, client consultations and client safety
  • Correct and consistent measuring of treatment areas, charting client progress
  • Necessary client forms, waivers and consent for treatment
  • 'How To' training for all treatment areas of the body, treatment areas defined (class time and hands on training)

Package A

$2700.

Price includes training and training materials  for owner (or manager) of business plus 1 additional staff member. NO equipment included.

Package B

$3750.

Price includes all package A plus  One Lipo Cavitation/Radio Frequency body treatment machine.

DISCLAIMER - Anyone receiving training from The Skinny will be personally responsible for checking with their state and local government  for any professional license requirements. All training candidates will be required to sign a nondisclosure stating you do NOT intent to use knowledge attained from The Skinny for training purposes and that you do NOT intend to open a competing business within a 25 mile radius of any The Skinny/The Skinny Experts location.

A deposit of 50% of cost of course/course and equipment is due 30 days prior to course date and is nonrefundable. The remaining cost of course/course and equipment is due at start date of course, No exceptions.
